September 30, 2022 - Wow! Ready to go straight out of the bottle. Tarry goodness with plenty of lively acidity and silky tannins. Very nice with roast venison tenderloin.
October 29, 2021 - Quite a bit of brown in the color but fresh on the pallet with sweet dark fruits and a hint of mushrooms and brett. Good succulence with grippy acidity but the finish lacks much complexity or definition. Not quite what I was hoping for in aging this wine.
December 17, 2020 - This bottle, while delicious, was not up to the level of the rest of this case.

December 5, 2020 - Beautiful understated wine that we had waited so long to try after acquiring from Will at Neal Rosenthal's wine shop. Paired fantastic with grilled ribeye at Churchill's with the Ecklers
October 15, 2020 - In a great spot. Softened tannins with vibrant acidity. Good bottle of Nebbiolo.

January 1, 2020 - I love this wine. Sappy, resiny, minerally, a bit of white pepper. Savory.
July 14, 2019 - This bottle matches the greatness of the one from March, and the notes apply here as well.
I'm thinking I'm going to push my last bottle into 2020, since this is singing bright and true, and doesn't have any sense of going over the hill.
March 19, 2019 - Top notch bottle. Nose is rich with sweet tar and roses. Palate is earthy, dark, fruity, mushroomy. Well-integrated tannins that still have a bit of kick extend it out a long while. Probably could go on for a couple of years, though I may finish off my case this year.
