July 25, 2005 - Anything from La Nerthe is going to be great. On my last trip to the Rhone Valley, I stopped by and they had just started selling the 88 Cadettes again. It has that brownish-red color and earthy aroma you get from the blend of those famous varietals. It floods the tongue so effortlessly that you have to wait for a few tastes to start to pick out each component over its long finish.
