Sunday, August 12, 2018 - This high density, Yarra Valley Chardonnay is like watching an episode of Secret Millionaire! There's a hidden generosity and level of class that's hard to see without being in the know.

Whole-bunch pressed. Wild-fermented in French oak puncheons (25% new). No MLF. Matured for 11 months.

It smells like a top end White Burgundy. Piercing. Bright. White peach, grapefruit, walnut, almond and sherbet. Glycerol and delicately creamy in the mouth. The balance is just impeccable so young. A mineral led drive into a fine nutty citrus finish.

I'd love a bit more drive through the mid-palate. But that's nitpicking. Drink 2018-2025. It's a super classy, approachable wine. A Wozza 95/100 (4.2) from me.
