Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red apple, mushroom, flora, red fruits, red cherry, toast. Medium acidity and medium tannin; tannin is smooth and integrated. Medium+ flavour intensity with medium body. Did not decant. At its middle of drinking cycle, will improve with aging.

Dark fruit leads, backed by notable med+ tannic grip and low-ish acid. Has a nice briary-woody bite and some oak (?). I neglected to confirm the label alcohol but I’d put it at a medium-bodied ~13.5% as a guess.
A lot of pleasure here at the beginning of its’ drinking window in my opinion. On a table, crowded with mature right bank Bordeaux, vintage champagne and a very nice 05’ Vougeot (Mongeard), this was the wine I kept reaching for.

tasted blind nose - savory, dark berry mouth - sumptuous, silky, red and dark fruit intermixed, excellent tannins and acidity. 2 separate bottles were brought independently and one was more tired than the other.

Dark fruit, sweet oak, cherry cola, spice and earth. While the palate is more intense than the 09 Grivot Suchots, it is missing the sweetness to please. Clearly deeper than the Suchots on the palate but the wine is too dark for a VR, which is common for Grivot in this era.
