Still young and vibrant, this has the Haag-hallmark of razorblade acidity, lemon freshness, vibrant minerality and immense balance; you gotta hand to the master of Mosel. #Jordnær#Ib&Pia

(Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese Trocken) Nose of green mint, earth, chamomile tea, slate. One of the earthiest Mosel 2001's I have smelled. Clean as a whistle on the palate with crunchy acidity and a nice dense liminess. Long finish with luscious fruit that leaves impressions of cherries and stones. Great wine that will evolve for a very long time.
