Nose: sweet potato, white flower, coconut water Notes: Unfortunately this is a bit too advanced and I think this is marginally premoxed. I've had a bottle of Pucelles from the same vintage before and somehow it's also not so satisfactory but clearly not in the same context. I am not sure if this is bottle variation or simply is the issue of 2011. I'm inclined to think that it's the vintage rather than sourcing as both bottles were in pristine condition and from different sources. Drink: now+ for this particular bottle Rating: 87

The one with Liz (Home): Pale yellow in glass. Absolutely loved the bouquet on this from the get go, intoxicating kaffir lime/curry leaf, raw sesame, lemon butter and jasmine. This had a touch of unriped apricots, a ton of minerals and white flowers (lilies and jasmine). Overall this was showing good strength, tension but most importantly, incredible precision with crisp and zingy acidity.

Very clean, citrus tart aromatics, classic Leflaive.

Very similar to the ‘10 from the previous night the ‘11 being perhaps a trifle less concentrated but still pale and wonderful.

PNP at Burgundy Lyon.
Dry, acidic, tart, with mineral and lemon peel. Lacks complexity and too acidic
