  • 12% alcohol.

Youthful pale yellow color. Ripe, juicy and somewhat toasty nose with slightly evolved aromas of marzipan, some golden apples, light autolytic notes of yeast and brioche, a little bit of nuttiness, a subtly oxidative hint of bruised apple and a touch of mushroomy character. The wine is ripe, fresh and medium-bodied on the palate with pretty intense flavors of golden apples, some leesy creaminess, light autolytic notes of brioche, a little bit of chalky bitterness, a subtly sweet hint of ripe citrus fruits and an evolved hint of nuttiness. The overall feel is very precise and fresh with the high acidity and rich, silky mousse. The finish is dry, refreshing and lively with lengthy flavors of lemony citrus fruits, some tart green apple, light yeasty notes, a little bit of almond, a hint of chalky bitterness and an autolytic touch of brioche.

A wonderfully fresh, fine-tuned and attractive Blanc de Blancs that retains wonderful freshness despite the ripeness resulting from the relatively warm vintage. Although the wine is starting to sign the first signs of age, the overall feel is still very youthful and I'd wager there's still a lot of upside to this wine - most likely it will need another decade to hit its peak. All in all, a fine, nuanced and pleasant BdB - nothing too memorable but definitely nothing to complain either.

  • Unmistakable BdB. Fresh citrus and apple flavors. Bubbles are way to agressive. Maybe this is still to young. Might improve a little but i don’t think will never be great. There are better vintage options from other producers which deliver a better bang for your buck.

  • CDV
A mon sens un peu trop "mûr", une bulle trop abondante et pas assez fine, sinon c'est séduisant, facile, avec du fond bien que manquant de finesse. interssant en mangeant, notamment sur des huitres en gelée.

  • A Wine Fair at Hamburg (Stock exchange building, Hamburg): One glass, brief note: very creamy on the midpalate, mouthfilling, a lot of brioche, great sample, but maybe the price tag is a little arrogant, 67,50 per bottle, **(*+ -?)
