No disgorged information on the back label, believe it is 2016 based on earlier comments. 3g/l. Mushroom, apple, sour plum with an expansive palate slightly savory ending with a long kumquat finish. Seem to have hint of greenish on the aromas after a while in the glass. Still very fresh and could age for at least another 5 years.

100% Pinot Meunier, Disgorged May 2016. From the wine list at NOMAD rooftop. A great way to start the evening and drinking very nicely. Red fruited with softer bubbles, nice acidity playing well with the red fruited tone and spice - long finish. Enjoyable!

Chartogne-Taillet Les Barres 2011. Gogget juni 2016. 100% Pinot Meunier. 92p
A good showing, though not great. Paler in colour than the '14 poured alongside, and with a leaner fruit profile at first - there's tart pear and a little red fruit, with plenty of yeasty and biscuity autolytic notes dominating, and chalky minerality on the back end. At first we remarked it doesn't show many of those 2011 characteristics, but with more time and air (or perhaps as it warmed nearer room temp), some of those herbal elements became more prominent. That said, it never feels underripe or weedy, and it's a very enjoyable wine - if just a notch below what I typically expect from this bottling.

First time with this wine, enjoyed it a lot. Not very clunky or foursquare; quite elegant for a PM.
