Layered and complex nose, notes of spices, undergrowth, red and dark fruit. Concentrated and powerful with more pronounced tannins and less fruit compared to the last bottle. Slightly drying towards the long finish. 91-93

Opened at the Upper House in Hong Kong. P&P and enjoyed over many hours.
This never really felt like it opened up its secret pleasures to me, despite me letting it slowly breathe for many hours. Vogüé's wines need time, especially for the good vintages like 2005, and I feel like this declassified young vine Musigny will still be playing hide-and-seek with us for a few years yet.
Revisit in 5+ years, probably 10. Clear upside for everything to resolve and for it to express itself.

9 hours upon opening serving into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Leaf” day): Pale ruby to the eyes.
Darker red and bluish cherry fruits. Cinnamon spices.
High and fine boned acidity. Leaner on palate. Very amazingly fresh and more about potential.
93-94 points easy.
Second round: really cool fruits, almost a little honeyed and even botrytis fruits (which should not be here...?) more about even longer cellaring potential here. Upgrade to 94 points solid.

(Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru) High-toned, complex and delicate aromatics - quite engaging. More concentration and tannin than the ‘villages’, but there’s really and extra dimension of flavour in the mid-palate. Excellent, but also overpriced.

not at all sure what to make of this - the tannins are largely resolved but the sweetness overwhelms - disappointing
