A proper Meursault! This annoyingly enough confirms the hype surrounding PVG. The wine is very complete with an amazing intensity and extraction, a ruthless, yet balanced acidity, and enough oak to tie it all together. The fruit profile is leaning towards the green side, even with the intensity and ripeness. If you only have one bottle, it's no infanticide to try now, but I suspect it will improve over the next 5-10 years.

Bottled under 55mm natural cork. Splash decant. Shows a beautiful nose after a few minutes which expands over time. Honeysuckle, citrus, river rock. Very expressive with a steely minerality. Palate has steering acidity off the bat. Does mellow some over time to reveal lime zest. Lots of citrus. Needs significant time to show complexity, but shows a lot of promise. Best 2025+.

Knust stein, kalk, lime. Skyhøy syre. Blir nok killer om noen år
