disappointing bottle of wine : tanine structure still needs some evolving to balance the wine, I'm missing the complexity to make this a great wine, also a rather short aftertaste

100 RP Points plus some extra's (@ Bottles): Beautiful chocolate, tobacco and some pleasant barnyard in the bouquet. On the palate sweet spices, chocolate and a lot of good fresh acidity. Classical wine, quite mature, but not tired yet.

Tasting of 100PP wines (Restaurant Bottles, Sas van Gent): Captivating. Old-fashioned style, which I adore. Especially when served in this company. Touch of brett, outdoorsy, beautiful spicy seasoning, fresh black and red fruit play a humble but important role. Great wine.

Saturday night wines: Deep fruit, complex nose, some heat, tobacco; a fresh and quite structured mouthfeel, very fine length. Structured, quite rustic, still quite interesting due to its complexity.
