  • Elegant cool climate Dolomites Pinot with a larger than normal amount of brett. Tasted many bottles of this over the week and all were consistent. Later we visited the winery in Alto Adige. Perfect pairing with white fish. Maybe because of the dish but there was not fishyness that I often get with even the lightest of reds.

    WSET
Garnet in glass, very pale in body but looks aged (although only 2019)
Noise of Cranberry, sweet vanilla tobacco, earthy, farmyard
Palate cranberry, med+ almost high acidity, med alc (12%), med-tannins, med+ finish well balanced med+ intensity
Good to Very good wine. Just a little light in alcohol perhaps because of a very cool climate.

Grown on 28 year old vines at 430-450m above sea level, harvested late Aug/early sept yielding 29HL/HA. 6,000 of production.
