Still quite young. Spectacular aromatic nose. Dark and quite deep red almost opaque color. Blueberry with moreish acidity. Takes a while to open up. Recommend decanting for 2 hours at cellar temp. We have had several of these and they always start singing towards the end of the bottle.
Drink or hold. This one is not falling off a cliff. It has another decade easily to go.

Whole cork, no seepage. Dark and brooding after 20+ years. Takes about 60 minutes to wake up in the decanter. Puts on quite a bit of weight. Very nice, with slightly bitter finish from carignan dominated blend. Carignan, grenache and syrah.4 Drink or hold to 2020. On a mature plateau, but why wait longer? 14% abv

The wine takes about 45 minutes to unfold and emerge. Tastes quite youthful for its age, despite a roundness that can only come from age.
Carignan typicity seems to dominate the wine, without the bitterness I often find to be its irritating feature. Very long and polished finish hinting at some savoury development yet to come.
Drink or hold to 2022, has entered mature phase IMHO. 14% abv

The nose is outstanding - lifted florals with menthol, tar, kirsch, cedar and leather. The palate doesn't quite have the same appeal but it's still interesting. It is super full and rich with quite a bit of oak influence, lots of flavour to it! Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Still deeply coloured. Aromas of black fruit, leather, earth. Palate is medium/full with good structure and finish. It could last a few more years yet.
