What a nose! Wow! Revelatory, to say the least. Better on the nose than the palate, but that is because the nose is so stellar. Quintessential Burgundy.

Charleston VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Liked it a bit better than the last time we had it although the QPR is so out of whack for me that I wouldn't buy it again. Had a bit more fruit I think and that is my style of burgundy. A bit less of the clarity of the Rousseau. Overall a good wine that I'd be very happy with if I'd paid ~1/8th the price.

Meh. Lacks any precision.

Excellent balance and persistent with enough acidity to keep it fresh and interesting.

Charleston Offlineorama VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Various locations): For me, more Ponsot than CdlR. Great oak integration. Dried cherry. Floral powder. Quite wonderful.
