Tasted double blind. This showed fantastic. I particularly liked the superb purity fruit… it was almost all tropical fruit (I usually don’t like the strong pineapple notes I had here) but all so fresh and pure. The acidity was probably a bit too pronounced here but nevertheless, this was still a fantastic white. 95/96pts.
TN: Ripe orchard fruit with more tropical fruits (pineapple for me) and a touch of sweetness but still elegant. With time a nice minty freshness. On the palate equally expressive with the same rather tropical but fresh tropical fruit with pineapple, lychee, maracuja. One would think this could be plumb or cloying with so much tropical fruit, but it is so fresh and with lots of cut. In fact the acidity is slightly too pronounced or not perfectly integrated. Superb.
Decanting: No extensive decanting necessary.

Absolutely brilliant showing. Super explosive, rich, mineral driven and layered, it‘s showing beautiful notes of citrus, lemon oil, seashell and oystershell minerality, but also buttery, rich layred notes typical of Batard. Pretty full-bodied, but fresh, with medium-high acidity and superb tension. Long finish that is just piling up. Superb.

Had this twice over the last weeks and it showed stellar. Lots of lemon curd, pronounced sea shells, deep and complex with excellent freshness and broad Batard shoulders. Top!

Excellent, fresh, combines a buttery toasty side with a deep mineralic, flinty top note. Very grand today again.
