11/2/2022 12:48:00 AM - Would definitely pop one. Maybe it is the wet 2002 vintage showing after 20 years? Storage shouldn’t be a factor for the wines we drank as all stored in the same facility.
We drank the wine blind alongside a 2001 Meerlust Rubicon, 2001 SLV Fay and a (2004?) Gralyn. The Bordeaux was everyone’s least favourite and the Rubicon WOTN (it does have history of beating Bordeaux wines mind).
Hope this helps - maybe best not to line it up against others too and enjoy on its own?
