Friday, December 2, 2022 - Tasted after a 90 minute decant.
Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of sweet black fruit, tar, leather progressing to licorice.
On the palate, medium bodied black fruit, black cherry/blueberry/blackberry, leather, slightly earthy/forest floor, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to tar, black cherry & a hint of pepper.
Even though the flavour is not particularly complex, it is pleasant.
