Wednesday, March 29, 2023 - Netofa, Tel Qasser, Moursyr, 2021: Previous vintages of this wine were riper and fruitier. This tastes like a nice young Rhone wine that is meant for drinking on the younger side. Garnet towards ruby in color. On the nose, aromas of violets, asphalt, blackberries, wild blueberries, roasted herbs, cracked pepper and clove. Medium-bodied, medium-plus intensity, elegant, with on the palate juicy wild blueberries, blackberries, cassis, a hint of pomegranate, fresh wet earth, black pepper, herbs and tar, medium-plus acidity and medium tannins that gently rise with notes of clove and Cuban cigar on the long finish. Complex and refined. 13.5% Abv. Drink now-2027. 91+
