Saturday, April 1, 2023 - A private dinner with friends (Restaurant Rijsel, Amsterdam, NL): Lots of minerally energy, bright and crisp and yeasty, very dry, tight and borderline austere, direct and angular, not all that easy to love.

    Totally open with ripe fruit and amazing mousse. Resembled some of the best grower champagne I’ve had. Really sad I only bought two bottles.

    @DantheMan123: Very interesting that our experiences were so diametrically opposed. Another person who tasted from this bottle mentioned on Instagram: "bone dry, bit rigid". Bottle difference? Will have to try again!
