Saturday, June 10, 2023 - Light straw colour, definite citrus flavours over familiar Rhone fruit. Off dry, perhaps a little sweeter than the average, but held in check by the pinch of salinity at the end. This is a *lot* of wine for the money (I paid £7 a bottle en primeur) with depth and power that would suggest something at twice the price. Apparently a blend produced specially for The Wine Society during 2020, so there may not be more of this in the future sadly ...

6/10/2023 11:46:00 AM - I bought a case of these too. Uniquely interesting, isn't it? Alas, with everone jacking up prices these days, including the wine trade, even on their old stock, I doubt we will see such gems again for 7 quid.
