Tuesday, December 19, 2023 - Upped score from last bottle. Upon opening and first swirl of the glass, an amazing black licorice aroma which was cool--have not had that with chianti in the past. Secondary aromas of black and red fruits. Medium bodied with firm tannins that have a velvety mouth feel. This is ready now, but will last. Amazing effort IMO.
