Friday, January 26, 2024 - Very fine and elegant particularly for such a vintage. A tricky options wine: nobody chose Batard and nobody chose 2018. I think it would be more complex with a few more years. It may be that by picking early in a warm year avoids the problems of overripe and low acid, but maybe lacks some character. I expected a bit more richness. I do like the maker's approach and I buy a range every year.
