Thursday, September 3, 2009 - Full of fruit with no tannins, but not jammy or oversweet. Initial taste is blackberry, hint of black pepper. Finish is smooth and a little dry, just enough to avoid being cloying. We had this with cheese and bread, but wished we'd saved it for a medium hearty meat meal. Superb value - with a designer label and promotion, this would be going for 3x the price.
