Monday, October 12, 2009 - Just PURE. Tight at first (as expected). This has an unbelievable butter-without-fat sensation going on--akin to weightless power that I love so much in great Burgundy. Very chalky on the nose, a hint of smoke, a touch of lavender. Nice bright, lemony acidity. Beeswax. A full mid-palate takes you to a finish that lingers and lingers.
