90 Points

Sunday, February 21, 2010 - Drank with a roast capon, Lucques mashed potatoes, a sauce made from the pan drippings and purreed capon liver and a nicely dressed salad.

Well, I neve thought I would say this for a Kosta Browne wine....I really liked it. Well, I have really liked the 4-Barrel I have tasted before, but that was basically a one off.

Anyway, who knew? It was a bit like a cherry cola for a while but it evolved in to a nice fruit, some spice and nice finish wine. Even the oak was come close to being properly in balance. I'll rate it 89-90 points. If only I knew that this might be what evolved in to a KB, I might not have sold off the bulk of my holdings. Still, I am glad those other bottles gave other folks who embrace thestyle the proper respect those that enjoy the stuyle deserves. Still, I am still a bit shocked -- it tasted nice. 89-90 pts.
