Sunday, April 25, 2010 - Drank over two days. Initial impression was a very alcoholic nose, very tight on the palate with a tannicy finish. Some typical pinot flavors, but I didnt have a problem leaving some for later. Day two- nose has opened up- some dark fruits, maybe blackberry with a little oak. Mid-palate shows good fruit, much smoother than previous night. Tannins are still present but not as tight as previous consumption. Overall- good, but not accustomed to waiting 24 hours for a good pinot to open.
