Saturday, April 24, 2010 - Drank at Roots. Nice surprise. Not a big fan of the '03's, except for St. Julien. Well-balanced, which is not a term I associate with this vintage. No hint of over-ripeness, bright cherry fruit, nice tannins up-front, good acidity on the finish. Floral nose with some leather and lead mixed in. Drank well now, but will age nicely.
