Tuesday, November 9, 2010 - Probably was better 2 years ago as this seems to have lost its zip. Its not done by any means but I think I just like my Zin younger. A bit of raison and prune on the nosedecent cherry mid palate followed with some tartness and tannin on the finish. Fine for the $10 I paid but not worth anywhere near full tariff any longer.

7/1/2013 8:16:00 PM - Yeah, sorry for the typo YHN. Ive had lots of Vieux Os Zin, thus my slip in typing here. They are (both Zin and Charbono) decent enough when fresh, but I dont think there is any reason to age these at all. I bought this bottle from Winebid, which is probably why it was $10, maybe OTH? (maybe bad storage if Im off in my assesment at the time)
