Thursday, November 25, 2010 - On the palate, an initial hit of unripe raspberry, followed by clove and cinnamon. This is very light in body, but is thrown out of balance by bigger green-tasting tannins on the finish, which isn't particularly long. A nice change of pace from a typical, riper Pinot at $15, but nothing to get really excited about.

All the flavors, tannins and action on this wine happens on the edges of the tongue and mouth. The center of the palate is left utterly empty, and almost just tastes like water.
