Friday, January 7, 2011 - Very clear Bordeaux influence, unmistakably new world. The wine is very well-balanced with a nice tannin structure suggesting a long life ahead. This was drank from a magnum, I have one more magnum and won't touch it for 3 - 5 years. The wine is drinking nicely, but will improve with some time in the bottle. There is still some very tight fruit being masked. Looking forward to having the next one in 2016!
