Sunday, February 6, 2011 - Big time virility this time. Served double-blind, and I guessed '04 Clos des Papes. Oh well, kinda sorta close. The acids are a little bracing, but not in a tart way. They provide a riveting minerally thrust through the mid-palate transition to a very long finish. I loved the savory, salty scents on the nose as well. This will be a real joy to watch unfold. 93++
