Saturday, February 12, 2011 - caveat: i have only had a handful of desert wines, but some of them were very good.

paired with a baked apple and vanilla ice cream.

A good, but not great wine. However, definitely found some synergy with this pairing. Good floral notes in the nose. Apricot and other stone fruit on the tongue, but subtle.
