Saturday, March 12, 2011 - Aired in the glass, no decant. Big bold cherry scents with lots of cocoa too. Lush mouth-feel, dark berries on the palate with carmel/butterscotch mid-palate followed by Stag's Leap dust. Tannins fully resolved, structure is present; a nicely integrated wine. Probably has five more years ahead of it? Enjoyed this wine very much, worth the price ($75.00 at the vineyard).
