Monday, May 30, 2011 - Extremely dark & viscous in appearance. Smoky & faintly pruney nose, which initially is somewhat underwhelming. Full bodied mouthfeel. Deep, rich, brambly fruit upon entry & through the midpalate. Then loads of zesty oak, baking spices, & just enough gripping tannins all come together to create a finish that's both firm & peppery.
