Wednesday, July 27, 2011 - This is a wine that needs some air. Decant before drinking. If you get it by the glass be patient, it takes some time to open up. It's not a particularly heavy bodied cabernet, as others have noted. It's too heavy on some of the notes I don't like as much, licorice especially. Lots of fruit forward though that faded as it opened up and it became a much smoother wine. It's an expensive bottle and others might find better value but this wine will have its fans.
