1999 Trimbach Riesling Clos Ste. Hune

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Wednesday, July 27, 2011 - From a bottle with a bulging capsule but no detectable ullage. Medium green-gold color. Aromas of lime, peach, and kerosene. Palate of granitic minerality, lemon, lime, lemon curd, kerosene, and some stressed-vine syndrome signatures of agave (tequila) that lead into a long finish. Opened in the glass, but seemed more advanced than was expected. Resample from a pristine bottle for a better reading on where this is. Otherwise, hold.
