Friday, August 19, 2011 - Erin thought this wine tasted like "communion" wine. Dark purple with good legs. Heavy Oak bouquet with blackberry. This is a wine with lots of mineral and earthy taste, good tannins and medium acidity on the front of the palate. Quite a bit of fruit for a Pinotage, hints of blackberries. That probably comes from the 13% Cabernet Sauvignon. Little bit of spice. Matthew liked this wine a lot more than Erin.. its the African blood.
