Thursday, December 8, 2011 - 7 hour decant with huge red fruit flavors dominating with light chocolate on the finish. Firm tannins throughout but not overpowering. Next day the earthiness started to show. Red fruits still there on nose and palate combined with moist earth and cocoa. Long 30 second finish with smooth tannins. Think this has many years to go but drinking fantastic now if allowed to open in a decanter. Great wine!
