Saturday, February 25, 2012 - First glass straight from the bottle tasted very closed and woody. Got much better after 1 hour in the decanter.
Nose : tar, old leather, autumn forest with hints of dried violet and blackberry. In the mouth, the tannins are powerful, but now well rounded. Intense fragrance of leather, tobacco and hints of autumn leaves laced with violate and blackberry. The wine appear still quite young and powerful and can evolve further. However it is now a great treat.
