Monday, April 30, 2012 - Dark ruby. Somewhat monolithic. May have suffered from being tasted alongside the 89, which is clearly in a better place right now. Some of the classic petit verdot aromas of pepper and underbrush, but mostly cassis and dark fruits. Still very tannic and structured. Try again in 5 years.
