Monday, December 18, 2006 - did a vertical tasting with friends this weekend. all cinq cepages. did 99,00,01,02 and 03. the 2000 was the weakest of the group. general consensus was that there was no finish on the palate. fruit burst, but no depth or structure to this vintage. the 99 was the runaway winner. the 2001 compared favorably with the 99 and 02 shows promise. too early to tell much on 03.
