Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - Past its prime but still an impact wine with interesting spice, clove, and vanilla oak overtones. Fruit has faded leaving plenty of oak but without any bite. Food/BBQ didn't change the wine much. Wish i had tried a bottle many years ago to know what it was like.
