Monday, August 6, 2012 - What a lovely surprise; aging has done its magic. Blackberry on the nose, still get the alcohol 'hit' on the nose but not in the taste. Slightly dry, smooth, full, almost silky but with that subtle dry 'tut' (hmm how to describe tut-its a tongue thing?) a hint of smoke, lovely blackberry and no jammy here; very well integrated food friendly - a really lovely balanced Zin. Oh the challenges of having the talent to disguise this 'end result' in the early days so one could buy more-I continue to 'wish' :)
