A caution, though, is that i worked at getting this wine to open up. Decanted at noon, it was tight and rough. By late afternoon, it remained the same. I splashed it between two decanters eight or ten times then let it be for two more hours before dinner. Then it was a beauty. I am going to wait as this wine will, I think, develop great depth and tertiary flavors over the next ten to twenty years.
