Tuesday, November 6, 2012 - Medium bodied for a Malbec. Quite closed nose of predominately primary plum fruit and a little savoury notes. More concentration on the palate, but lacking real depth and complexity. Enjoyable none the less, with ripe plum, blackberry and bramble fruits and a musky, meaty, earthy savouriness. Medium + length with good acidity and structured tannins. Average value for the price point. Drinking well now but would benefit from 2-4 years bottle age.
