Wednesday, February 6, 2013 - Powerful wine, densely packed with dark berry flavors. Quite international nose with aromas of black cherries, mulberries and cigar box. On the palate this wine shows enormous structure and extract, with noticable and rather bumpy but not dried-out tannins. Long reveparation, quite alcoholic and a bit "rummy" on the back end, oak plays a bit too much of a role. Needs food company.
