Sunday, March 17, 2013 - This really shocked me. The initial nose was somewhat awkward and tasted dry and gritty. After about 30 minutes it opened up further to a deep aromatic, still dry but slightly dusty mouthfeel that was balanced, rich and unique in it's blend of Cab Franc, Cab Sauv and Merlot. This bottle was a delicious and classy accompaniment to steak and salmon. Had only intended a glass or so but we couldn't put it down. Bravo to the winemakers here.
