Saturday, June 15, 2013 - dark fruit (black currant and black cherry) and alcohol on nose. black currants on attack but turns tannic on back end with long bitter tannic, dry and oaky finish. The fruit is very good on this wine but needs 5-10 years to calm tannins. Left bottle open for 30+ hrs and still was just as tannic as initial tasting. If this wine gets smoother over time can be a 90-94 point bottle.
