Sunday, August 4, 2013 - Another outstanding bottle of Rhys Chard. Our group loved it, the Som loved it and my wife loved it. An explosive nose of grapefruit, minerals, some lemon curd. Full bodied, great texture. On the palate, complex yet still quite young. Plenty of depth. Great acidity that worked with food. Creamy lemon curd with some slight vanilla as a counter point to the acidity and minerality. Long finish. Love these wines.
