Thursday, November 14, 2013 - This is the best young Hillside Select that I have ever tasted. Momentous amounts of crushed blackberry, mint, cassis, chocolate brownie, lava and sage. The palate is absolutely flawless, showing so much purity, concentration and silky, layered tannins. The middle palate gushes throughout the finish and will leave you speechless. This is quite latent at the moment, with a structure that is inexorable. Your cellar will be quite pleased to have this in there; the quintessential Stags Leap Cabernet. Drink 2019 -.
